There’s something magical about being on the Trail — the fresh air, the stillness of the trees, and the sense of connection to nature and community. For many of us in the Lean In Canada Women+ and Trails Circle, the outdoors is more than just a place to walk — it’s a source of peace, wellness, and perspective. And the Trans Canada Trail offers all that and more.
This fall, we’re proud to be part of the Great Canadian Hike, coming together as a team to help protect and maintain this incredible national treasure. As the longest multi-use trail system in the world, the Trail stretches nearly 30,000 kilometres, connecting people and places from coast to coast to coast.
We’re also excited to welcome our newest team members — Leila, Melonie, SBee, Olga, and Angela — to our hiking crew! Their enthusiasm and energy make our journey even more meaningful, and we can’t wait to hike alongside them.
So far, we’ve raised $223 out of our $1500 goal, and every contribution brings us closer to keeping the Trail accessible, safe, and thriving for generations to come. From September 20 to October 19, we’ll be logging our kilometres and fundraising alongside thousands of people across Canada — all working toward the collective challenge of 30,000 kilometres in 30 days.

Together, we’re helping ensure the Trail remains accessible, safe, and thriving for everyone, now and for generations to come.
