Why we are Participating in the Great Canadian Hike
Because we love the Trans Canada Trail (TCT) with its forests, rugged mountains and the crystalline lakeshores across Canada!
We are participating in the Great Hike Fundraiser to ensure these cherished trails receive the care, restoration and remain accessible and vibrant for generations to come.
In fact, we have enjoyed it so much we took our honeymoon on it from our front door in Calgary to Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC, July 4th to July 24th, 2023, approximately 1800 kms. We have done other trips on it as well, Kimberley to Calgary, High Rockies Trail and other smaller trips.
Our Fundraising goal is $500 and 500 kilometers of biking or hiking between September 20th and October 19th.
No gift is too small and with your support, we can ensure that Canada’s trails remain wild, welcoming, and wonderful for all.
