Why I’m Participating in the Great Canadian Hike
There’s something magical about being on theTrans Canada Trail, it's where I feel connected to friends & family across Canada.
For about a decade, I have walked bits of the TCT in 4 provinces: BC, MB, PE & NS. My goal is to increase my collective mileage (kilometerage?) and this challenge will encourage me to do so, while funds raised help to maintain the very paths that I enjoy.
This fall, I’m joining the Great Canadian Hike, a nationwide challenge where people across Canada will hike, bike, paddle or roll and log their kilometres to collectively reach 30,000 kilometres in 30 days — the length of the Trail from coast to coast to coast.
From September 20 to October 19, I’ll be logging my kilometres and raising funds to help keep the Trail accessible, safe, and thriving — for everyone, now and for future generations.
I encourage you to sign up to participate, donate, or share my campaign with your network to help spread the word.
Let’s be part of something great — together.
