Why I’m Participating in the Great Canadian Hike

Welcome to my Great Canadian Hike page!

I’ve always believed in the power of nature to heal, inspire and bring people together. Whether it’s a solo walk to clear my head or a group hike full of laughter and muddy boots, the outdoors grounds me. And there’s no better place to experience that connection than on the Trans Canada Trail — the longest trail network in the world, winding through every province and territory.

This fall, I’m joining the Great Canadian Hike to celebrate the magic of this Trail and raise funds to protect it for generations to come. From September 20 to October 19, I’ll be logging my kilometres (and probably snapping too many photos) as I hike, walk, and maybe even dance my way along different parts of the Waterfront Trail (that's me holding the new signage that just went up here in Toronto!)

If you know me, you know I care deeply about building connections.  Connecting to nature, to people, to places. That’s what this Trail represents to me.   And that’s why I’m inviting you to be part of it.
